We've seen a unique kind of drama and quirkiness in Luv Ranjan's flicks, such as 'Pyaar ka Punchnama' and 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety'. He is back with his new-age drama and romance, 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar', starring Shraddha Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor. The two actors are seen in a fresh chemistry. The film opened in theatres today (March 8, 2023). The early collections of the rom-com drama are already out!
'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' has received a greater reception in advance booking sales than any other film released this year, with the exception of 'Pathaan'. 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar's' advance booking is better than Kartik Aaryan's Shehzada and Akshay Kumar's Selfie. Popular trade analyst, Taran Adarsh has already revealed the early collection of the film and it seems the flick has opened huge, pulling off more than 2.30 crores by 10:30 am. He tweeted, “#TJMM at national chains… Day 1… Update: 10.30 am…#PVR: 1.23 cr #INOX: 70 lacs #Cinepolis: 42 lacs Total: ₹ 2.35 cr Nett BOC. #TuJhoothiMainMakkaar”
This early booking response indicates that the picture will have a double-digit opening. The film, which also marks the debut of comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi, is estimated to open to roughly Rs 10-13 crore nett in India, which is significantly more than the box office performance of Luv Ranjan's previous feature. 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety', starring Kartik Aaryan, Sunny Singh, and Nushratt Bharuccha, debuted at Rs 6.42 crore nett and grossed roughly Rs 109 crore nett over its whole run.
