Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer ’Tiger Zinda Hai’ is about to complete its 4 weeks run at the box office and it is still raking in a considerable amount of money. Despite facing a stiff competition from 3 other films, which hit screens last Friday, TZH is doing exceptionally well at the ticket window. The movie has completed more than 25 days in theatres and is still minting respectable figures. Yesterday, on day 26, the film pocketed 1.06 crores and took the grand total to Rs. 328.09 crores. The movie is slowly inching towards 330 cores marks.
A still of Salman Khan from Tiger Zinda HaiSo far, only two films have crossed the 330 crores marks and both the film belong to Aamir Khan. In the domestic run, the Ali Abbas Zafar helmed TZH is only behind 2 films, namely, ‘PK’ (341.96 cr.) and ‘Dangal’ (387.38 cr.). Reaching anywhere close to ‘Dangal’ is impossible for Salman’s film, but if it managed to survive one more week then it will surely stand head to head with ‘PK’.
TZH will again face competition from 3 new films which are releasing this week. The coming weekend is the only chance for Salman’s film to do some more business as ‘Padmaavat’ and ‘Pad Man’ will dominate the box office from 25th January.
