Actor Ajay Devgn is all set to witness a yet another hit. His latest film, Raid, which released last Friday, is doing a great business at the box office. Though the movie minted double figures on day 1, the strong word of mouth helped it to earn even more. And in just 3 days, it has pocketed more than 40 crores at the cash counter. On Friday, Raid minted Rs. 10.04 crores, collections on Saturday were Rs. 13.86 crores and yesterday, it managed to earn Rs. 17.11 crores, which took the grand total to Rs. 41.01 crores. With more than 41 crores in just 3 days, it surpassed the first-weekend collection of Akshay Kumar’s Pad Man and becomes the second highest weekend grosser of 2018.

Raid is based on a real raid from 1980’s which took place in Uttar Pradesh. Starring Ajay Devgn and Saurabh Shukla in lead roles, the movie is backed by a powerful supporting cast.
Helmed by Rajkumar Gupta, Raid also features Ileana D’Cruz as the female lead.
