The first-week box-office numbers are out and A Gentleman starring Siddharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez isn’t at the forefront! The movie had everything going for it, two good looking stars, fun and peppy songs, superb publicity and all other jazz! But unfortunately, the film was not loved by the audience. It received mixed reviews from the audience as well as the critics. The weekend could not capture enough footfalls and weekdays went draining down.

The film made Rs. 4.04 crores on its opening Friday, Rs. 4.36 crores on Saturday, and Rs. 4.73 crores on Sunday. It further made Rs. 2.03 crores on Monday, Rs. 1.60 crores on Tuesday, Rs. 1.71 crores on Wednesday and Rs. 1.35 crores on Thursday. Hence, the total collection stands at Rs. 19.82 crores at the domestic front, which is a huge disappointment for the makers.

The trade experts have declared the film as a flop already and the trends do not see it going any higher. With new films coming in, A Gentleman has a minimal scope of staying upright at the theatres. Directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K., the film has been presented by Fox Star Studios.
