Salaam Venky, starring Kajol, drastically failed to draw audiences to theatres. Since its December 9 debut, the film has struggled to generate revenue at the box office. The lead in this Revathy-directed movie is Vishal Jethwa. Salaam Venky's extremely moving narrative focuses on a boy who has terminal cancer. Other big-budget movies like Drishyam 2, Bhediya, and An Action Hero are formidable competitors for Salaam Venky.
