The Shah Rukh Khan movie has only been out for two days, but it already rules the box office. The second day at the ticket counter has been similarly spectacular after a fantastic first day! Hindi cinema's dry period appears to have come to an end with Bollywood's Badshah, which easily joined the Rs 100 crore club on day 2.
Pathaan broke the previous record for the highest-grossing Hindi film released on a non-holiday with a staggering Rs 57 crore on its opening day. Given that January 26 being a holiday, the film is predicted to quadruple its day-one earnings to roughly Rs 69 crore. By earning Rs 126 crore on day two alone, the SRK-led movie comfortably breaks the Rs 100 crore threshold.

With this, Pathaan joins Ra One, Don 2, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Chennai Express, Happy New Year, Dilwale, and Raees as King Khan's eighth film to gross over Rs 100 crore.
The spy action movie, directed by Siddharth Anand, tells the tale of an exiled RAW field agent (Sahrukh Khan), who is tasked with taking down a private terrorist group that is preparing a nuclear strike on India. Deepika Padukone plays an ISI spy in the movie, and John Abraham plays a rogue RAW agent.
