How is Shah Rukh Khan back? The return of the King of Bollywood is making waves at the box office, and for all the right reasons. Pathaan is writing history in both national and worldwide chains with its sleek action moves to SRK's wit humour and mass feelings.
The anticipation for the movie was enormous even before it came out, and the SRK, Deepika, and John Abraham starrer didn't disappoint. In fact, the film has been easily breaking and setting new box office records.
The eagerly anticipated movie made Rs 7.75 crores in national chains on Tuesday (Day 14), bringing its total to a staggering Rs 446.20 crores. Now, according to early trends, King Khan's hit movie Pathaan is predicted to earn between Rs 6 and Rs 8 crores on Day 15. The movie appears to be steadily and slowly edging closer to the Rs 500 crore club milestone.
According to rumours, Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan would have made more money at the Indian box office on day 14 (February 8), than KGF: Chapter 2 (Hindi) ever did. Trade expert Taran Adarsh estimates that Pathaan earned Rs 7.50 crore on Day 14. Pathaan will also surpass KGF: Chapter 2 to become Bollywood's second-highest earning film after the Hindi dub of Baahubali: The Conclusion after it dips to third place.
