This past Friday (August 11), ‘OMG 2’ and ‘Gadar 2’ both debuted in theatres. ‘OMG 2’ has been progressively gaining ground at the box office while ‘Gadar 2’ has retained its supremacy since its debut. The Sunny Deol movie had a fantastic opening weekend at the box office, earning Rs 40.10 crore, compared to ‘OMG 2's less impressive Rs 10.26 crore. But during the weekend, ‘OMG 2’ saw a rise in sales, earning Rs 15.3 crore on Saturday and an additional Rs 17.50 crore on Sunday. The total amount made at the box office is now a huge Rs. 44.56 crore, which is a huge win for the people who made the movie.

‘OMG 2’ is competing not just with ‘Gadar 2,’ but also with Rajnikanth's ‘Jailer,’ which also came out on the same Friday. The movie still does well at the box office despite these obstacles. The film, which conveys an important message regarding sex education, has mostly received favourable reviews.
