Amit Masurkar’s latest directorial outing Newton starring Rajkummar Rao in the lead has been garnering all the love across the country. The film has been praised not only by the fans but also the critics and, the industry mates who cannot stop raving about it. The movie raked in Rs. 2.52 crores on Saturday and Rs. 3.42 crores on Sunday. The film further made Rs. 1.31 crores on Monday, which is way more than its opening day. Hence, the total collection stands at Rs. 8.21 crores at the domestic front.
Newton is expected to remain stable during the weekdays and is not affected much by the competition film Bhoomi and Haseena Parkar. It is a small budget movie and shot in real locations.
