The multi starrer drama Udta Punjab has received rave reviews from the critics as well as the audience. Abhishek Chaubey’s directorial venture raked in Rs. 4.50 crores on Monday, Rs. 4 crores on Tuesday and Rs. 3.40 crores on Wednesday. Hence, its total collection stands at Rs. 45.70 crores at the domestic markets.
The movie performed very well in the Northern regions, especially in Punjab and Delhi. Udta Punjab talks about the drug scenario and abuse in the state of Punjab. The film stars Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh in the leads.
