Imtiaz Ali's directorial 'Tamasha' has witnessed a good weekend collection at the domestic box-office. Though, there is a rise in numbers from the first day, it has not seen a huge jump in scale. The film received mixed reviews from the critics and, the chemistry between the actors is widely appreciated. The movie managed to rake in Rs. 10.94 crores on Friday, Rs. 13.17 crores on Saturday and Rs. 14.12 crores on Sunday. Hence, the first weekend's total box-office collection stands at Rs. 38.23 crores at the domestic front.
The film now stakes on Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's sizzling chemistry and charm. The movie is expected to do decent business during the weekdays as well. It is a love story but, with a very different treatment. The movie is shot in exotic locations and showcases multiple emotions at length.
