'Talvar' First Weekend Box-office Collection

'Talvar' managed to collect decent numbers on its first weekend box-office at the domestic markets. The film, starring endowed actors Irrfan Khan and Konkona Sen Sharma is based on the controversial Aarushi murder case in Noida. The movie received limited screens owing the multiple releases, still it managed to perform quite well.
The crime thriller raked in Rs. 2.50 crores on Friday, Rs. 2.75 crores on Saturday and Rs. 3.50 crores on Sunday, making its total first weekend collection stand at Rs. 9.25 crores at the domestic markets. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the thriller earned rave reviews from the audiences as well as the critics.
