\'English Vinglish\' and \'KLPD\' released on the same date and both the films could not open well at the box office. But since \'English Vinglish\' is a good film, those who watched it on its first day, liked it and their mouth publicity benefitted it a lot.
\'English Vinglish\' showed huge growth in its box office collections on Saturday and Sunday. Thus it managed to earn nearly INR 14 Crores in its first weekend which can be said to be a decent amount for a low budget film like this.
Vivek Oberoi\'s \'KLPD\' has failed to attract the audience (except in a few single screen theatres).
