    Second Weekend Box-office Collections Of 'Bombay Velvet'

    Second weekend box-office collections of 'Bombay Velvet' totals up to Rs. 1.40 crore at the domestic front.

    Anurag Kashyap 's ' Bombay Velvet ' continues to perform poorly at the box-office. The Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma starrer badly failed to charm the audiences, leaving the makers in huge loss as it was a big budget movie. The second weekend box-office collections of the film ' Bombay Velvet ' totals up to Rs. 1.40 crore at the domestic front.

    The film is based on Gyan Prakash's book 'Mumbai Fables' which discloses the love tale of a street fighter and an aspiring jazz singer. The story-line did not appeal to the masses because of its highly urban content. The movie is set in Mumbai of the early 1960s.
