Sarbjit first Monday Box-office collection!

The film Sarbjit directed by Omung Kumar has garnered mixed response from the critics as well as the audience. The film made a decent business of Rs. 13.96 crores on its first weekend at the domestic markets. The biopic raked in Rs. 2.09 crores on its first Monday, hence making its total collection stand at Rs. 16.05 crores at the domestic front.

The film stars Randeep Hooda as Sarbjit, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as Dalbir Kaur, his sister and Richa Chadda as Sarbjit’s wife Sukhpreet. The film is a biopic based on the life of an innocent Indian farmer Sarbjit who was convicted by Pakistani Army for being a terrorist.

The movie needs to rake in good numbers during the weekdays as well to have a strong collection at the box-office.
