Omung Kumar's much talked about film Sarbjit released yesterday, on May 20, 2016. The film garnered mixed response from the critics as well as the audience. First day at the box-office of the film witnessed decent collections. The movie made Rs. 3.69 crores on its opening Friday at the domestic box-office.
The film stars Randeep Hooda as Sarbjit, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as Dalbir Kaur, his sister and Richa Chadda as Sarbjit’s wife Sukhpreet. The film is a biopic based on the life of an innocent Indian farmer Sarbjit who was convicted by Pakistani Army considering him a terrorist.
