Neerja remains strong on first Monday at the box-office; crosses 25 crores!

Ram Madhwani’s directorial Neerja witnessed a steady Monday. The film has received immense love and appreciation from the audience. The critics have also lauded the film and its performers. Overall, the movie has received tremendous response from the audience.

Sonam Kapoor starrer film raked in Rs. 3.70 crores on its first Monday, Hence, the total first weekend collection stands at Rs. 25.71 crores at the domestic markets which is indeed great! The biopic film was released in 700 screens/limited shows.

The film Neerja is based on a real life incident where a 23 year old air hostess Neerja Bhanot loses her life while saving the lives of the 359 passengers of a high jacked plane.
