'Manjhi The Mountain Man' First Weekend Box-office Collection

Actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte starrer 'Manjhi The Mountain Man' received rave reviews from the critics. Both the actors, especially Nawaz, have been appreciated for their performances in the movie. The biopic raked in Rs. 1.40 crores on Friday, Rs. 2.35 crores on Saturday and Rs. 2.70 crores on Sunday making its total collection stand at Rs. 6.45 crores at the domestic front. The movie is suffering at the box-office due to the unfortunate internet leak.

Ketan Mehta's movie revolves around a heart touching story of a man who broke a mountain for love. The movie is a biopic based on the life of an ordinary man Dashrath Manjhi who single-handedly dug across a mountain for 22 years with only a hammer and chisel, near Gaya in Bihar to create a road. It is a story of a man who showed extraordinary spirit and the strength of his willpower.
