'Katti Batti' Witnesses a Major Drop at the Box-office on its First Monday

Despite extensive promotions and the huge buzz, Nikhil Advani's 'Katti Batti' failed to shine at the box-office. The romantic comedy proved unsuccessful to impress the critics and the audience. The film did not have a good start at the opening weekend and collected Rs. 16.27 crores at the domestic front which is far lower than expected.

The movie saw a further drop at the box-office collections on its first Monday and raked in Rs. 1.91 crores. Hence, its total box-office collection stands at Rs. 18.18 crores at the domestic markets. The film is riding on poor word of mouth and is being criticized for a clichd story. Starring actors Kangana Ranaut and Imran Khan in the leads, the Rom-Com is presented by UTV Motion Pictures and Emmay Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.
