Kapoor & Sons witnesses a good week one at the box office!

Shakun Batra's directorial Kapoor & Sons is basking in the success as the film has kept the cash registers ringing at the box office and the audience have given thumbs up for it. The flick has received multiple positive reviews from the critics. The fresh star cast comprising of Alia Bhatt, Siddharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan attracted the crowd to the theatres.

The film created waves even prior to its release with foot-tapping songs and trailer. Kapoor & Sons collected 6.85 crore on its opening day and 7.75 crore on Saturday. Sunday saw brighter figure 11.75 crore and Monday was low as 5.8 crore. Tuesday saw the flick garnering 4.50 crore followed by 4.35 crore on Wednesday. On Thursday, the family drama raked in 6.65 crore, thereby making the total domestic seven days box office collection of Kapoor & Sons up to 46.93 crore.

Dharma Productions' venture is harvesting good word-of-mouth publicity and is observing shinier picture in urban multiplexes.
