    Jai Gangaajal: First Tuesday Box Office Collections

    Priyanka Chopra starrer Jai Gangaajal is performing decent at the box office considering its minimum promotion. The film collected Rs. 25.55 crore till its first Tuesday.

    Priyanka Chopra starrer Jai Gangaajal released in 2684 screens in India and 300 screens overseas on March 4, the film had competition with the sleeper hit Neerja and Hollywood release Zootopia. Opened with only 12% occupancy, Jai Gangaajal received multiple decent reviews from the critics but failed to attract crowd to the theatre.

    On the first day of release, the film Jai Gangaajal raked in 5.50 crore and on Saturday it was slightly higher as 6.25 crore. Sunday was much better with 6.75 crore. On Monday due to Mahashivratri holiday to some people, the collection was 3.75 crore. The film managed to harvest 3.30 crore on Tuesday, thereby making the total domestic collection of Jai Gangaajal up to 25.55 crore till its first Tuesday.

    The film marks the acting debut of the filmmaker Prakash Jha . Priyanka Chopra is seen as a fierce cop in this action drama.
