Happy Bhag Jayegi stars actors Diana Penty, Abhay Deol, Jimmy Shergill and Ali Fazal in the lead. The romantic-comedy drama raked in positive reviews from the audience and mixed reviews from the critics. The film made Rs. 2.32 crores on Friday, Rs. 3.81 crores on Saturday, and Rs. 4.58 crores on Sunday. Hence, the total first weekend box-office collection stands at Rs. 10.71 crores at the domestic front.
Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film narrates the story of a run-away bride who accidentally lands in Lahore, Pakistan.
