The intense love tale ' Hamari Adhuri Kahani ' starring Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan has witnessed a decent opening weekend collections at the domestic markets. The film was based on the concept of timeless love and longing has received mixed reviews from the critics as well as the audiences. The film managed to collect Rs. 5.04 crores on its first day i.e. on Friday and Saturday remained steady with Rs 5.15 crores, on Sunday the collections saw a rise with Rs. 6.30 crores at the domestic front.

The Mohit Suri directorial has a stellar star cast now stands at the total domestic box-office collection of Rs. 16.49 crores. The film that also stars Rajkummar Rao in the role of a baddie needs to pick up well during the coming weekdays. The film was made on a relatively small budget of 35 crores and hence recovery should not be an issue. The first week collections will sure decide the outcome of the film in true terms.
