Half-Girlfriend to cover half a century in the coming days!

After the blockbuster hits of movies based on his earlier novel, Chetan Bhagat took no time to convert his last published book Half Girlfriend into a film. He joined hands with Ekta Kapoor to produce the film. Thus, his prompt action has resulted in the quick collection at the box-office.

Even if Half Girlfriend got average reviews, it is ahead in the race of last Friday’s releases. Thus, giving tough competition to Hindi Medium, who has received great reviews by the critics.

Box-Office collection of Half Girlfriend till day 6 is as follows, Friday 10.27 cr, Saturday 10.63 cr, Sunday 11.14 cr, Monday 5.11 cr, Tuesday 4.46 cr, and Wednesday 4.02 cr. Therefore, total collection counts to 45.63 cr. With this, the film will soon cover 50 cr mark at the box-office in the coming days.

Starring Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor in lead, film Half Girlfriend is directed by Mohit Suri. It is about a chase of a man to get the love of his life. The film’s soul is perfectly captured by Arijit Singh in the track “Main Fir Bhi Tumko Chahunga”.
