First Weekend Box Office Collection Of 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani'

The chemistry of Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone sizzled the silver screen and the pair brought magic numbers for the film \'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani\'. The high decibel publicity of the film worked for it and hence the film has become the biggest opener. The film enjoyed the biggest weekend as the audience loved the youth oriented story of the film including foot tapping song and dance numbers in the film.

The film which opened with 19.45 cr on Friday, collected 20.00 cr on the Saturday at the box office. The box office collection of Sunday was estimated to be 23.30cr nett. \'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani\'s total domestic box office collection has been toted up 62.75 cr approximately till date. It is estimated by the trade Pundits as the film should reach up to the magic number of 100 crs in 10 days but it will depend on the response of the audience to Deols\' family drama \'Yamla Pagla Deewana 2\' which is going to hit the screens this Friday.

The film directed by young talent Ayan Mukherjee got an absolutely thunderous response in the overseas market as well. The film collected approximately 10.50 cr which makes the total worldwide collection of \'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani\' to be 73.25 cr nett. The film is pronounced as a super hit and an another success for Ranbir and Deepika\'s booming career. The film also features Aditya Roy Kapur and Kalki Koechlin.
