With the disastrous collection of the last Friday\'s releases \'Ungli\', \'Zed Plus\' and \'Zid\', November has been declared as the lowest box-office garnering month of the year 2014.
Considering its top-notch star-cast and established production house, \'Ungli\' gave a very weak performance in its first weekend at the box-office. The cause of this failure can be blamed on its postponed release and the poor promotional strategy.
Dividing the days, on Friday, \'Ungli\' released in 1700 screens all over India and cashed Rupees 3.60 Cr in its account. Saturday experienced a slight growth of 14%, making the film earn Rupees 4.15 Cr and further added Rupees 4.60 Cr to its collection on Sunday. Thus, \'Ungli\' made the business of Rupees 12.65 Cr over its first weekend at the box-office.
