    First weekend box-office collection of 'Ugly'

    Anurag Kashyap's 'Ugly' pleases the film critics, but fails to make its mark at the box-office

    Anurag Kashyap 's much-awaited film ' Ugly ' finally marked its release last Friday. After garnering good reviews from the critics, let's check out how well it has flared at the box-office.

    In the festive season of Christmas, people preferred 'PK' over the dark film ' Ugly '. On the opening day, the film started with the poor theatre occupancy of 5-6% in the morning show but with the positive word of mouth the film improved its status till last show, collecting Rupees 90 lakhs on day 1. Further, the film showed a marginal growth collecting Rupees 1.10 Crore on Day 2 and 1.20 Crore on Day 3. Thus, the first weekend box-office collection of ' Ugly ' is Rupees 3.20 Crore.

    ' Ugly ' stars Rahul Bhat , Tejaswini Kolhapure and Ronit Roy in the lead and is subjected on child abduction.
