January 17 saw an out and out adult flick ' Miss Lovely ', a love story ' Karle Pyaar Karle ' and a desi love-saga ' Paranthe Wali Gali ', hit the screen. Apparently, the viewers chose to give a low response to all of the three films.

' Miss Lovely ' spoke about the bitter truths of Bollywood C grade film industry, while ' Karle Pyaar Karle ' narrated a love story between a dashing young couple. Apart from being an adult-flick, ' Miss Lovely ' passed with just four cuts from the censor board and bagged many positive reviews from the critics. Although morning shows of this flick were low occupied, the evening shows witnessed a better picture. The Friday's collection of ' Miss Lovely ' was 13 lakhs and Saturday saw the movie garnering 17 lakhs, reportedly. ' Miss Lovely ' should fetch up to 50 lakhs on the first weekend of release and the expected lifetime collections of the film are 75 lakhs, as per the reports.

On the other hand, ' Paranthe Wali Gali ' shows got cancelled and the two days collection of the film can be summed up to less than 10 lakhs, reportedly.
