    First Weekend Box Office Collection of 'Issaq'

    The romantic-thriller \'Issaq\' directed by Manish Tiwary, received lukewarm response from the viewers on first two days of its release.

    The romantic-thriller ' Issaq ' directed by Manish Tiwary , released on July 26. This movie, which is based on political rivalry between two rich families in Banaras, starred Prateik Babbar and Amyra Dastur . The film gained poor word-of-mouth publicity and also the reviews were not on the favorable side of the flick. The other Bollywood releases on July 26 are ' Bajatey Raho ' and ' Nasha '. The Hollywood 3D flick 'The Wolverine' featuring Hugh Jackman stole the thunder from all the Bollywood flicks released on July 26, by snatching great response.

    The Banarasi love-saga ' Issaq ' kickstarted with lukewarm response on Friday and the scenario at the ticket-window was almost the same on Saturday. On Friday, the movie collected 0.90 crore nett, whereas on Saturday, the collection was 1 crore nett. Hence, the total of two days domestic collection reach up to 1.90 crore nett. ' Issaq ' is likely to be in the ballpark of 2.75 crore nett over the weekend, which can harden the road ahead of the film.

    The movie even could not please the viewers in North region, where it was actually made.
