Shashank Khaitan directorial 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' released on July 11. The rom-com featured Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in the lead role. The movie opened with a grand opening on day one, however performed a little low in Mumbai, central India and Nizam. It was good in Delhi, NCR and East Punjab. Riteish Deshmukh starrer action-drama 'Lai Bhari' hit the theatres on July 11 and proved a tough competitor for 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania'. Nevertheless, the rom-com is riding high towards 32 to 33 crore nett first weekend of its release, as per the report. The first two days total domestic collection of 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' can be summed up to 20.27 crore nett. The flick is likely to cross the mark of 40 crore nett worldwide, as per the trade pundits.
