Imtiaz Ali's directorial 'Highway' released across 700-800 screens and the film promised to offer something exciting. 'Highway', the road journey, featured Randeep Hooda and Alia Bhatt. The movie managed to receive multiple positive reviews from the critics and mixed word-of-mouth from the audience.
On the first day of release, the film witnessed low occupancy and was expected to rise over the weekend. However, it did not see much hike in numbers. As per the reports, 'Highway' collected 03.42 crore nett on Friday, while on Saturday, it garnered 04.35 crore nett. The total domestic box office collection of first two days can be summed up to 07.77 crore nett.
'Highway' should incur around 12-13 crore nett over the first weekend of its release. The steady weekdays will help the film achieve more numbers at the box office.
