    First Weekend Box Office Collection of 'Ek Villain'

    The mystery-thriller 'Ek Villain' recorded the total worldwide collection of 65.62 crore in the first weekend of its release.

    Released across over 2500 screens, Mohit Suri 's directorial ' Ek Villain ' raised the audience's interest. The movie featured Siddharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh as grey shaded characters. The female lead is played by Shraddha Kapoor . This mystery-thriller was the sole big release on June 27 with no major competitor to eat the profit share. Talking about its performance at the ticket window, ' Ek Villain ' collected 16.72 crore nett on Friday and it was little low on Saturday by garnering 15.15 crore nett, reportedly.

    ' Ek Villain ' received a stellar response on Sunday by raking in 19.65 crore nett, thereby making the total first weekend domestic box office collection up to 51.52 crore nett. The film also shined in the overseas market by harvesting 14.10 crore nett, as per the report. So, the total worldwide box office collection of ' Ek Villain ' till now can be summed up to 65.62 crore. The performance of the flick on Monday is a litmus test for this thriller.
