' Alone ' has emerged out as a savior to Bipasha Basu 's sinking career, after her back to back disastrous films ' Aatma ', ' Humshakals ' and ' Creature '.

These days horror genre is getting sold on the added benefits of passionate scenes and ' Alone ' is not an exception. Therefore, even after releasing in limited number of screens this film has managed to earn Rupees 14 Crore over its first weekend.

Other releases of January 16, ' Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene ', ' Crazy Cukkad Family ' and ' I ' have fallen flat at the box-office making ' Alone ' win the battle. With this, the winning film has another four days to bag in the cash as the competition is arriving with coming Friday Sonam Kapoor 's ' Dolly Ki Doli ' and Akshay Kumar 's ' Baby ' are going to hit the theatres.

Directed by Bhushan Patel , ' Alone ' is the remake of 2007's Thai film of the similar name.
