First Weekend Box-Office Collection of Aashiqui 2

Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor starrer love story 'Aashiqui 2' proved to be a big hit doing ample business over the weekend at box-office. Albeit, 'Aashiqui 2' confronted a tough competition with Hollywood flick 'Iron Man 3', 'Aashiqui 2' became successful in wooing the box-office in last two days.

On the first day of its release, the movie garnered 5.25 crore nett. On Saturday, 'Aashiqui 2' collected nearly 5.75 crore displaying 10% hike.

'Aashiqui 2' observed ascending business with each passing show. It seems the movie has become successful in attracting its targeted audience, i.e.; college-goers and youth. The film did very well in the smaller towns and the other places like Uttar Pradesh and Mysore.

Reportedly, 'Aashiqui 2' accumulated around 11 crore nett over the weekend.
