    First day collection of 'Mary Kom'

    Even after getting the average rating from the critics, film 'Mary Kom' goes unaffected conquering the minds of audience and earns above-average collection at the box-office right on its first day.

    Yesterday on the occasion of Teacher's Day, the most-awaited film of the year ' Mary Kom ' marked its release in the theatres. Having Priyanka Chopra on board, the film had an exceptional story of World Boxing Champion Mary Kom to tell. Though the film got average reviews from the critics, let's check out how far it has succeeded in ruling over the minds of the audience.

    Releasing in over 1500 screens across India, states like Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Assam announced ' Mary Kom ' tax-free which has worked pretty well in the favour of the film. It picked up the line right from its first show resulting in the occupancy of 70% throughout the day. On its first day ' Mary Kom ' registered the whooping collection of INR 8.71 Cr at the box-office. The film is believed to reach even higher number over the weekend.

    Directed by Omung Kumar , film ' Mary Kom ' is running in the theatres. Go catch it!
