October 11 saw four films hitting the screens, ' War Chhod Na Yaar ', ' Baat Bann Gayi ', ' Kyun Hua Achanak ' and ' Paap '. Out of them, the shows of ' Kyun Hua Achanak ' and ' Paap ' got cancelled, while ' War Chhod Na Yaar ' and ' Baat Bann Gayi ' released in limited theaters. Apparently, all four movies witnessed a sluggish start at the box office.

Although the team of ' War Chhod Na Yaar ' performed high promotions and marketing as well as the film was studded with a fresh concept, it received poor opening of 10%, which seemed a complicated task to take up a big leap in the path ahead. Faraz Haider 's war-satire ' War Chhod Na Yaar ' starring Sharman Joshi , Soha Ali Khan , Javed Jaffrey , Dalip Tahil , Sanjay Mishra and Mukul Dev released in around 750 screens all over India. It was a humorous take on Indo-Pakistan war and introduced a new angle with this narrative. The film also had advantage of capturing the viewers over disappointing performance of Ranbir Kapoor 's last week release ' Besharam '. However, the novel concept could not delight the masses and this flick contained no big face to pull the crowds. It received not-so-good reviews mentioning the flick as a loopholes galore.

Shuja Ali 's ' Baat Bann Gayi ' was the other release this Friday, which was also devoid of any big star featuring in it. The movie starred Ali Fazal and Gulshan Grover in double roles as well as Anisa , Amrita Raichand and Razzak Khan . The film was a complete washout at the box office with the vacant cinema halls on its opening day.

' War Chhod Na Yaar ' still have a few days to score well at the ticket window, the chances will get blurred after the release of Akshay Kumar 's ' Boss ' on October 16, which is arriving to quiver the box office at lightening speed.
