The laughter-ride ' Humshakals ' directed by Sajid Khan released on June 20. The multi-starrer film gained mixed reviews from the critics and recorded occupancy of around 30 to 35% during the morning shows, as per the report. The comic caper featured Saif Ali Khan , Riteish Deshmukh , Ram Kapoor , Esha Gupta , Bipasha Basu and Tamannaah Bhatia in the key roles. The promos of the film promised it to be a great entertainer loaded with fun and frolic. However, it seems the film could not delight the viewers to much extent. It was the single release of June 20.

' Humshakals ', the star-driven film, could not attract expected number of viewers in single screens as well as in multiplexes. It was released in around 500 screens. The film proved disappointing on day one and is anticipated to face tough competition from Akshay Kumar starrer ' Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty '. Going by the early trend, ' Humshakals ' is expected to collect 4.5 crore nett on the first day of its release. Nevertheless, the movie should incur good numbers during the first weekend of its release in order to shine well at the box office.
