The movie featured Ranveer Singh , Priyanka Chopra and Arjun Kapoor in the key roles. This action-drama hit the screens on February 14 after promoting the film on various platforms and this movie was the solo release this Friday. This exciting venture by YRF was released across 2800 screens.

Ali Abbas Zafar 's directorial ' Gunday ' reportedly performed very well in the mass dominated areas like CP, CI and UP. The film also performed great in single screens and witnessed around 60% occupancy during the morning shows. As it released on Valentine's Day, it got to earn brownie points as it attracted huge number of youngsters. The evening shows observed occupancy of around 75%, as per the reports. As per the early estimates, ' Gunday ' must collect decent figures of around 12.50 to 13.50 crore nett on day one. The movie is gearing towards becoming the first biggest hit of the year 2014 with a strong first weekend of its release.
