First Day Box Office Collection of 'Gulaab Gang'

Soumik Sen's debut directorial venture 'Gulaab Gang' unveiled on the silver screen on March 7 after facing lot of controversies. The movie made the two contemporaries of 90's, Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla to share the screen space for the first time. The cherry on the cake was the brand new avatars of both of them; Madhuri as a fierce leader doing high octane action stunts and Juhi as a cunning politician.

The much-talked about 'Gulaab Gang' bagged mixed reviews from the critics, however Juhi Chawla took the entire show on her shoulders with her surprising antagonist role with utmost perfection. Chawla delivered a much memorable performance with apt body language and no need to say Mrs. Nene also shined in her respective role. The movie is expected to see great occupancy in single screens. On its opening day, the film saw opening of around 15% to 20%, as per the reports.

'Gulaab Gang' is anticipated to cross the mark of 2.5 crore nett on Friday, as per the early estimates. The sizzling 'jugalbandi' of Madhuri and Juhi is expected to steal the show.
