First Day Box Office Collection of 'Citylights' and 'Kuku Mathur Ki Jhand Ho Gayi'

The two releases of May 30 failed to make a big splash at the box office. \'Citylights\' and \'Kuku Mathur Ki Jhand Ho Gayi\' were expected to attract crowd, however they could not do so, as the other releases like \'Heropanti\' continued to perform well among the audience.

Rajkummar Rao, Patralekha starrer \'Citylights\' gained praises from B-Town celebs and received multiple positive reviews. Nevertheless, it recorded occupancy of sheer 8% during its morning shows. The evening shows witnessed a slightly better picture and is anticipated to collect 01.25 crore nett approximately on its opening day, as per the early estimate.

Balaji Motion Pictures Ltd\'s production venture \'Kuku Mathur Ki Jhand Ho Gayi\' recorded occupancy of just 3% to 5% and many of its shows got cancelled. Earning even 50 lakhs on the first day of its release seems to be a tough task for this flick.
