Nitesh Tiwari 's directorial ' Bhoothnath Returns ' starring Amitabh Bachchan , Boman Irani and debut child artist Parth Bhalerao , released on April 11. We earlier reported about low performance of the film during its morning and noon shows on day one.

The movie seemed to be targeted at family audience, especially the kids. It also had the possibility of falling short on songs part, due to not having a foot-tapping track. Going by the reports, ' Bhoothnath Returns ' saw occupancy of around 20% in areas like Bihar, UP, Bangalore. However, in other places, the film observed the occupancy of around 15%. Amitabh Bachchan starrer required to take a big leap during its evening shows in order to incur average figures.

The film may also face tough competition from the last week's release ' Main Tera Hero '. As per the early trends, ' Bhoothnath Returns ' is anticipated to collect around 3 crore nett on its opening day.
