    'English Vinglish' has earned nearly INR 1.75 Crores on its first Tuesday. Thus its total box office collection in first 5 days stands at INR 17 Crores (approximately).

    ' English Vinglish ' has earned nearly INR 1.75 Crores on its first Tuesday. Thus its total box office collection in first 5 days stands at INR 17 Crores (approximately).

    On one hand 'KLPD' did very bad business at the box office even though it starred Vivek Oberoi and the hot Mallika Sherawat whereas on the other hand Sridevi 's ' English Vinglish ' did well even though she came in a non-glamorous role. So it becomes clear that hot and sexy content does not work if your content is not good. It is the subject and writing of the film which mainly decides its fate at the box office. Same was the case with ' Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal '.

    ' English Vinglish ' stars Sridevi in the lead role of a housewife who faces a lot of problems due to English language.
