    ‘English Vinglish’ which opened to a very dull response on its first day, has showed huge jump in its box office collections on its 2nd day.

    ' English Vinglish ' which opened to a very dull response on its first day, has showed huge jump in its box office collections on its 2nd day.

    It earned double the amount on its 2nd day in comparison to its 1st day box office collections. On its first day it earned nearly INR 2.5 Crores whereas on Saturday (2nd day) it earned INR 4.75 Crores.

    It is believed that critics' positive reviews and positive mouth publicity of the audience helped it to pick up on Saturday.

    It stars Sridevi and is directed by Gauri Shinde and is a family film.
