Nishikant Kamat directorial 'Drishyam' got a fairly decent opening on its first Friday at the domestic Box-office. The Ajay Devgn starrer managed to collect around Rs. 8 crores on its very first day. Though the film was expected to perform better than what it has turned out due to the buzz it had created and also due the presence of stars like Ajay and Tabu.
Considering the screen count of film, which was 2365, it performed averagely. The suspense thriller is receiving competition from 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' and 'Baahubali - The Beginning' that are still running strong at the box-office. 'Drishyam' also starred Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Rajat Kapoor among others.
