Ajay Devgn starrer 'Drishyam' had a good opening on its very first weekend at the box-office. The suspense thriller managed to rake in Rs. 30.03 crores on its first weekend which also included the paid previews on Thursday. The film remained steady on Monday and collected Rs. 4.05 crores which makes its total stand at Rs. 34.08 crores at the domestic markets.
The film is riding on positive word of mouth and the critic reviews are also majorly on the positive side. 'Drishyam' has emerged as the 7th highest first weekend grosser of the year. The movie is expected to do more business in the coming days. Apart from Ajay, Nishikant Kamat's film also stars Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta among others.
