Rohit Shetty's directorial 'Dilwale' has witnessed a drop in its box-office collections. The romance drama raked in Rs. 8.79 crores on its first Wednesday, making its total collection stand at Rs. 93.39 crores at the domestic front. The film has suffered a lot of protests in several areas and, the screening had to be shut down hence has affected the collections. SRK's film has also been receiving tough competition from SLB's 'Bajirao Mastani'.
'Dilwale' brings back the evergreen pair of SRK and Kajol together on the big screen. Shetty's directorial stars young actors Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in pivotal roles. The movie also features endowed actors like Johnny Lever, Varun Sharma, Boman Irani, and Sanjay Mishra among others.
