Day 6 Box-Office Report of Hindi Medium

During weekdays, when a newly released film takes a back-seat, it works reverse for Saket Chaudhary’s Hindi Medium. It is performing phenomenally well in the on-going weekdays. In fact, it's opening Friday collection was much lower than what it is earning now. Well, that’s the wonder a positive word of mouth can do!

Hindi Medium kick-started with 2.81 Cr on Friday, the business picked up in the later weekend with 4.25 Cr on Saturday and 5.50 Cr on Sunday. It remained intact even in front of the IPL Final. Ahead in the week, Monday resulted in 3.15 Cr, Tuesday in 3.30 Cr and Wednesday 3.10 Cr. Therefore, its box-office collection stands to 22.11 Cr by the end of Day 6.

Trade Analyst predicts a hike in its second weekend. There are chances that Hindi Medium might overrule Half Girlfriend. However, the game will be in Sachin: A Billion Dreams court that will be releasing on May 26, tomorrow.

Hindi Medium’s strong content has made biggies like T-Series and Dinesh Vijan invest into it. The film deals with our country’s biased behavior towards the English language. It stars Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar as parents of baby Disha Sehgal.
