Karan Malhotra's 'Brothers' made an exceptional start at the box-office. The opening day collections being 15.20 crores, it seemed a blessing for actors Siddharth Malhotra and Akshay Kumar. The first Saturday collections of Rs. 21.43 crores were also were surprisingly amazing. On the third day, there was a drop in numbers though it remained in its two digit league. On Sunday the movie made Rs. 15.45 crores and hence its total collection stand at Rs. 52.08 crores.
The action drama crossed the 50 crore mark over its first weekend itself which is appreciable. The film now becomes the second highest grosser in the opening weekend category of 2015, after Salman Khan's 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'. Apart from Akshay and Siddharth, the film also stars Jackie Shroff, Jacqueline Fernandez and Shefali Shah in pivotal roles.
