The multi-starrer rib-tickler 'Humshakals' released on June 20 and gained several not-so-good reviews from the critics. However, it managed to get applause from some audience. Apart from the criticism, the movie witnessed good numbers over the weekend.
'Humshakals' was released across 3200 screens. The comic caper collected 12.50 crore nett on Friday and observed great rise in numbers by garnering 12.59 crore nett on the second day of its release, reportedly. The Sunday collections of the film were 15.04 crore nett approximately. Monday proved very low and it could collect 5.10 crore nett, while on Tuesday, the laughter-ride raked in 4.25 crore nett. On Wednesday, the collection was 3.55 crore nett. Its performance in this week will carve the future of the film. Sajid Khan's directorial has collected decent 12 crore in overseas market and is expected to mint around 2.5 million dollar lifetime. The total worldwide collection of the film till now can be summed up to 65.19 crore nett, as per the report.
Talking about the box office collection of Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha starrer 'Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty' has now crossed the mark of 100 crore and has collected 105.45 crore nett in 17 days, reportedly. A. R. Murugadoss's directorial collected 68.68 crore nett in the first week of its release. The second week box office collection of the flick was 31.03 crore nett. 'Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty' harvested 21.30 crore nett overseas, reportedly. Hence, the total worldwide collection of the film is 126.75 crore nett.
