    Box Office Collection of 'Hero'

    'Hero' collected 36.27 crore in the second week of its release.

    Salman Khan 's production venture ' Hero ' starring newbie Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty witnessed a great start at the box office but it dropped by 80% on the second Friday of its release. Helmed by Nikhil Advani , the movie was released after a blitzkrieg promotion.

    ' Hero ' opened with around 40% occupancy in urban areas and the collection of the film on day one was 6.85 crore , reportedly. The film garnered 30.87 crore as its first weekend collection. On second Friday, the film collected 80 lakhs. The movie noted its collection at international box office up to 4.60 crore, thereby making its total collection up to 36.27 crore, as per the report.
